Gather Your Materials
You’ll need:
- 22 inches of chain
- triangle beads
- bars: if you can find vintage ones, or you can get a chain with bars in it
- eyepins
- jumprings
- tools: chain nose and round pliers, wire cutters
Cut Your Chain
Using your wire cutters, cut your chain into 2 lengths: 14inches and 8 inches. This will give you about a 38 inch necklace when you’re done. If you want to tailor the length, add or subtract any length now from your chain.
Add Beads
Stack your beads onto an eyepin. The eyepin has an open loop at one end of a straight wire.
Finish Your Eyepin
Using your chain nose pliers, make a 90 degree bend in the wire, close to your bead. Next, using your round nose pliers, grab close to the tip of your wire. Finally, by rotating your wrist, twist the wire into round circle.
Connect It All Together
Now, connect your eyepins to the brass bars, using your round nose pliers to open the loop a bit at the end of each eyepin. Afterwards, start connecting your bars together with the jumprings. Then attach your bars to your chain.
