Over the past few weeks I’ve been setting up my metalsmithing station in my jewelry studio. This means a soldering torch, metal cutting saws, ring mandrels, 7 types of hammers — the full nine. It’s been nice to have these tools accessible so close by, instead of having to rent out and trek to the local metalsmithing station in my neighborhood. My first project is stacking rings, and I’ve made a batch that are currently being user-tested right now by me and some trusty jewelry testers (it’s a tough job — wearing jewelry). You can read all of the details of my metalsmithing setup on the blog.
