DIY: How To Make A Button Ring

So maybe you are an avid vintage button collector. Or you have a cool brooch from your Grandma, but the pin fell off and you aren’t sure what to do with it.  Make it into a ring!  This tutorial is super duper simple it doesn’t really warrant instruction — but hoping you find some inspiration here to make jewelry of your own.
This tutorial is only two steps — sand and glue!  Hoping you’re getting excited to make your own jewelry — and if you like that sort of thing, then definitely sign up for the mail newsletter where I email out new tutorials, new jewelry and other fun stuff.  And if you’re not into making your own jewelry, well there’s always my jewelry shop. Gather Your Materials

You’ll need:

  • button, or brooch
  • ring blank
  • heavy duty glue like E6000
  • sandpaper
  • something pointy like a chopstick

Sand away

Sand your smooth surfaces to make them rough

Glue it together

Plop your glue onto your ring blank and stick them together.

That's it!

You’re done!  Hopefully you’re feeling inspired to make your own.
